Meet Porsha
315 N Spruce St Suite 250
Winston-Salem, NC 27101
I was raised by my maternal grandparents in Catawba, North Carolina. My small-town upbringing instilled within me the values of hard work, kindness and compassion, as well a strong sense of community service and desire to help others.
I am a proud Double Deacon and enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons. I also enjoy reading, cooking, listening to all genres of music and cheering for my favorite football teams—Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions.
As an attorney, I bring my years of experience working with families to your case. My ultimate goal is to provide professional representation with an emphasis on preparation and attention to detail.
Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked for the North Carolina Department of Corrections as an Adult Probation and Parole Officer and as a Child Protective Services and Foster Care Social Worker.
After becoming a licensed attorney, I briefly practiced consumer law until my passion to help children and families led to my service as a Guardian ad Litem staff attorney with the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina, where I was an advocate for children in domestic violence and high conflict custody cases.
I had the opportunity to transition into private practice in 2018 and opened my own law office in 2019. In 2020, I was appointed Public Administrator and Public Guardian of Forsyth County and provide court-appointed independent guardianship and estate administration services.
